Network & Speed Details
- Speed and signal strength may vary with your device, configuration, internet traffic, environmental conditions, applicable network management, and other factors.
- Service is subject to Access Communications wireless video experience optimization practices.
- Maximum download speeds for 5G plans: up to 250 Mbps. To access 5G network speeds, you must have a compatible 5G plan and compatible phone, your phone's software must be up-to-date, and you must be connected to the Access Mobile 5G network where available.
Calling Terms
- Included minutes: Calls must be made and completed within Canada to use included minutes.
- Roaming: Roaming rates apply outside of Canada.
- Long distance: Long distance rates apply to calls made from Canada to outside Canada.
Messaging Terms
- Included messages: Includes text and picture messages sent and received anywhere in Canada.
- Service availability: Availability of service will vary by country and is subject to change without notice.
- Exclusions: Excludes premium and subscription-based messages.
- Picture Messaging (P/VMS):
- Pay-per-use rates apply for multimedia (picture and video) messages.
- Picture messaging only works if data is turned on.
- If roaming in the U.S. or internationally, additional data charges apply depending on picture size.

You can use almost any unlocked phone. In Canada, every phone sold after December 2017 is already unlocked by law. If you have an older phone and it is still locked to another company, they must unlock it for you for free. This means you can keep the phone you already love and simply switch your service to us.
Both cards do the same job: they connect your phone to our network so you can make calls and use the internet.
- Physical SIM: This is a tiny plastic card. You slide it into a small tray on the side of your phone.
- eSIM: This is a digital version built right into your phone. There is no physical card to touch or lose.
An eSIM is the fastest way to get started. Since it is digital, you do not have to wait for a card to arrive in the mail or visit a store. You can start your service instantly online.
It is also great for travel. You can keep your main number on your physical SIM and use an eSIM for extra data, giving you the best of both worlds without swapping tiny cards.
Most phones made in the last five years are ready for eSIM. This includes:
- iPhone: Model XS, XR, or newer.
- Samsung: Galaxy S20 or newer.
- Google: Pixel 3 or newer.
Yes! If you prefer a plastic card or have an older phone, we have you covered. You can add one to your cart when you sign up. We can mail it to your house or you can pick one up at a retail store.
Our plans offer 5G speeds up to 250 Mbps. To reach maximum speeds, you need a 5G-enabled phone (most phones made after 2020 support 5G) and you must be in an area where 5G is available.
Not with us. Our plans are designed to protect your wallet. Once you use 100% of your data, it pauses instantly to keep your bill exactly what you expect it to be. You decide if and when you want to buy a data top-up to keep going.

Yes, in most cases. You can transfer your existing Saskatchewan number for free. Eligibility depends on the town or community your number is registered in, and some communities aren’t currently supported yet. We’re working to add more.
